Dayton Yacht Harbor Rentals

We recommend sailing, kayaking, and SUP (stand up paddle boarding) within an area 5 to 10 miles from the dock in Dayton, MT.

  • We offer a full refund if your rental is cancelled by us due to weather.

  • Rent a Capri 22 Sailboat WITHOUT a Captain to explore Flathead Lake. The best wind is 10-15 Knots out of the east on High pressure days. Think blue sky and very light white fluffy clouds. Sailing on Flathead Lake is in the bay between the Dayton shoreline and Wild Horse Island, and Big Arm Bay. Check your weather forecasts. We recommend renting one of our kayaks and sup boards if you would like to go ashore at any of the islands. There are no public docks on any of the islands. There is a swimming ladder off the back of the boat.

  • Rent Kayaks and SUP's:  We offer self guided Kayak and SUP rentals which include paddles and life jackets. We have 9ft sit on top kayaks, and 11.6ft Drift Paddle boards. The best paddling area is on days when the weather is nice June to Aug. The best conditions are on days with high pressure, when the sky is blue and very light white fluffy clouds. Paddling on Flathead Lake is in the bay between the Dayton shoreline, Cromwell Island, and Wild Horse Island State Park.  You should estimate 4-5 hours (full day rental) for a trip to Skeeko Bay on Wild Horse Island State Park.

  • Check your local weather forecasts for wind and wave hieghts.

  • Includes: All federally required safety equipment type II USCG life jackets.
